FAQ

  • Congratulations on making the decision to embark on a process that may change your life. I’m honored to be considered as part of your journey.

We will begin by scheduling a 15 minute consultation call to discuss what you’re looking for + see if we’re a fit for each other.

If we proceed, we’ll schedule your first session. I’ll send you an intake questionnaire + consent form packet via email.

Show up to your sessions ready to engage in discussion. We’ll talk through your individual needs, strengths, challenges and areas of focus to formulate a plan that works best for you.

  • Sessions are $200 per meeting.

I am an out-of-network provider who does not bill directly through insurance.

I am happy to provide a superbill for reimbursement. Please contact your insurance company’s member services phone number to discuss if this is an option with your policy.

  • All clients will automatically receive appointment reminders via text/email 24 hours prior to session.

Changes to appointments must be made at least 24 hours in advance or will be subject to be charged at full session fee.

  • Feel free to contact me via phone or email. I will make every effort to respond as soon as possible.

Please keep in mind that electronic communication is not encouraged when discussing clinical matter as confidentiality can be compromised. In this, I may suggest scheduling a session to discuss content that may not be appropriate to discuss via email or phone.

If in a life-threatening situation, please contact 911 immediately or go to your nearest emergency room.

  • You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost.

Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have

insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services.

You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services.

You can ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service.

If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you

can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
