Client Focus

A core tenet of my practice is centered around acknowledging topics that are difficult to address in our day-to-day lives. It can be uncomfortable to rely on friends or family for guidance on situations they can’t be objective in discussing. If this is something you experience, our sessions will provide space to gain the support you may be missing.

A few themes discussed in sessions are listed below but are not limited to these only. It’s common to initiate therapy to address known challenges to later discover they are connected to something farther below the surface. Bringing challenges of all sizes into therapy will allow for a greater opening into areas in need extra attention.

Sharing wounded parts of your life is daunting and you deserve to feel comfortable. Sessions are always free of judgment and welcoming of your most vulnerable self.

  • Stress & Anxiety

    Buzzing with overwhelm is equal parts frustrating and exhausting. Whether it is overwhelm around “adulting”, job stress, relationship worries, pressure to succeed or an unknown source, we’ll process through the underlying causes & find mastery over the anxiety to give you a newfound sense of control.

  • Depression

    Feeling down for an extended period of time shouldn’t be your norm. You may have attempted to power through low points on your own but not found genuine resolve. Therapy sessions and implementation of new skills will guide you in finding your spark again and maximizing well-being.

  • Relationships & Breakups

    Breakups and relationship challenges can be devastating. I work through a relational lens to dive deeply into past relationships, both familial and romantic, to gather how they have shaped your current relationship to yourself, your view of the world and relationship to others. From here, we’ll build resilience to reinforce confidence in future relationships.

  • Trauma

    Working through trauma gently uncovers the past and makes sense of the future. I provide space where vulnerability, honesty and resilience are cultivated together. Through processing, we’ll spend time on implementation of self-regulation skills to lessen the effects of prolonged stress and trauma.
